Job Description

We are seeking a talented and passionate Frontend Developer to join our innovative team in Richmond, Virginia. As a Frontend Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly interfaces for our web applications, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across various browsers and devices.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development processes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Required Skills
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., Redux, NgRx, Vuex).
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Vite).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
