🌟 About the Role

Airbus India is hiring a Frontend Developer to join the Software Development team within the Digital department. You’ll contribute to flight operation solutions, developing UI components for web, mobile, and iPad applications used by pilots and aviation operations teams.

This is a remote role based in India with occasional travel to Europe.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and debug frontend components using Vue.js, Typescript, HTML, CSS/SASS, and optionally QT/QML.
  • Develop web and mobile applications with performance and usability in mind.
  • Collaborate in Agile teams (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe), participating in code reviews, design reviews, and sprint planning.
  • Write unit tests and support test automation efforts.
  • Contribute to estimates, technical documentation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support micro frontend architecture and responsive design initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively within your squad and across the Airbus Digital organization.
  • Participate in feature delivery from design to deployment and support.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
  • 2–6 years of experience in web and mobile frontend development
  • Strong Vue.js and Typescript skills
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS/SASS, responsive design, and accessibility
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe)
  • Ability to understand business context and deliver user-centric solutions
  • Advanced English (verbal and written)
  • Team player with proactive problem-solving skills

🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with iPadOS, OSGearth
  • Single Page Applications (SPA) and Micro frontends
  • Knowledge of UX, Design Systems, Accessibility
  • Backend familiarity: C# or Java
