Role Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with experience in Nuxt.js and modern front-end technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, high-performance web applications using Vue 3/Nuxt, TypeScript, and JavaScript. This is a hybrid role with on-site collaboration 1–2 days per week in Chicago.

Core Skills Required

  • Vue 3 / Nuxt.js – experience in building modern web applications
  • TypeScript & JavaScript – strong proficiency
  • Git / GitHub – version control and collaboration
  • Agile / Scrum – experience working in agile development environments

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Playwright for automated front-end testing
  • Exposure to Bloomreach or other modern CMS platforms
  • Experience with GraphQL (Apollo Client) for data fetching

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end features using Nuxt.js and Vue 3
  • Translate UI/UX designs into responsive, accessible, and performant web applications
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL)
  • Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and testing efforts
  • Stay up-to-date with modern front-end trends and best practices
