Job Description

HTC Global Services is looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with expertise in data visualization and geospatial systems to join its digital engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing responsive, interactive, and high-performance web applications that present complex datasets in a clear and meaningful way.

This role involves working closely with backend engineers, GIS specialists, and data analysts to transform raw data into intuitive visual interfaces. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in modern JavaScript frameworks and a passion for building user-centric applications that deal with spatial and analytical data.

You will contribute to the development of dashboards, mapping interfaces, analytics platforms, and real-time data visualization systems used by enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive frontend applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Build interactive data visualization components for large and complex datasets
• Work with geospatial data and integrate mapping libraries such as Mapbox, Leaflet, or OpenLayers
• Collaborate with backend teams to consume APIs and display structured and real-time data
• Design reusable UI components with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
• Implement best practices for frontend architecture and code quality
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional and interactive web interfaces
• Work with GIS data formats such as GeoJSON, KML, and spatial databases
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile development processes
• Troubleshoot UI issues and improve application performance continuously

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Proficiency in at least one modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue
• Experience with data visualization libraries like D3.js, Chart.js, or similar tools
• Understanding of geospatial technologies and mapping systems
• Knowledge of GIS concepts such as coordinates, projections, and spatial data formats
• Experience working with REST APIs and JSON data structures
• Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or similar
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to convert complex datasets into user-friendly visual interfaces
• Good understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
