Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Developer to take ownership of the full lifecycle of web development—from design to implementation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to build performant, user-centric web applications.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the full lifecycle of web development including design, development, unit testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough testing and maintenance of web applications.
  • Partner with product, design, and other internal teams to deliver a high-quality, user-centric website.
  • Advocate for and implement web development best practices, coding standards, and performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side APIs for smooth data flow.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across all devices.
  • Implement accessibility standards adhering to WCAG 2.1, ensuring usability for people with impairments.
  • Monitor and incorporate security principles related to web development.
  • Assist in Agile development, providing technical recommendations and problem-solving during sprint planning.
  • Work with analytics and marketing teams for integrations with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Position Specifications

Required Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in Web Development, Computer Science, Digital Programming, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–4 years of professional experience, with at least 2–3 years in web or digital development.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, object-oriented concepts, design patterns, and performance optimization.
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and related frontend technologies.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries like React or Next.js to build complex, maintainable user interfaces.
  • Ability to collaborate with product teams to identify problems and provide technical recommendations.
  • Experience coding for multiple browsers and devices, ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
  • Understanding of web usability, layouts, and W3C standards.
  • Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile development, software design, and testing methodologies.

Bonus / Preferred Skills

  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of CICD tools, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud deployment workflows.
  • Experience in financial services or enterprise web applications.
