The International Yacht Brokers Association (IYBA), founded in 1987 and headquartered in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, represents over 2,000 members, including yacht brokers, charter brokers, and affiliate members, both domestically and internationally. IYBA is dedicated to fostering professionalism and cooperation within the yacht brokerage industry. The organization provides its members with educational programs, seminars, and events to enhance their knowledge and expertise. Through its Legislative Committee, IYBA works to protect business interests and maintain a high standard of conduct in yacht brokerage transactions.
Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Front-End Software Troubleshooter to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves diagnosing and resolving front-end software issues, collaborating with developers to address user experience concerns, and ensuring high functionality and usability of web-based systems. Additional responsibilities include debugging, testing for software bugs, providing technical support for subscribers, assisting with onboarding new clients and contributing to continuous improvement processes.
Qualifications
• Experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals for web troubleshooting
• Proficiency in debugging tools and frameworks such as Chrome DevTools
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design principles
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) optimization
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred
• Willingness to work on-site in Fort Lauderdale, FL
Compensation
Commensurate with experience $55-65k. 401k and health benefits available to qualified hire.
