We are seeking a talented UI Front-End Engineer to join our team in Massachusetts. In this hybrid role, you will collaborate closely with engineering, design, and operations teams to transform requirements into intuitive, reliable front-end components. The ideal candidate has a strong ownership mentality, thrives in broad design discussions, and has a track record of deploying software used by real users.
Responsibilities
- Develop front-end components and applications for web and device-based UIs.
- Deploy and maintain production-level software that is reliable and user-focused.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, design, and operations.
- Integrate with Web APIs (REST/HTTP, auth flows) and ensure robust error handling.
- Apply best practices in CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based environments.
- Address performance, security, and reliability considerations for web and device interfaces.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years professional front-end development experience with production deployments.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native; React for web is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
- Experience building device-based UIs (kiosk, touch-screen, HMI) is preferred.
- Familiarity with observability tools (logs, metrics, traces) and performance tuning.
- Understanding of security patterns, offline-first design, and real-time UI considerations.
- Clear and proactive communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule on-site.
