Job Details

  • Role: UI Front End Engineer.
  • Location: Hybrid role in Westborough or North Reading, Massachusetts.
  • Compensation: $65–$75 per hour (may vary based on skills, experience, and education).
  • Work closely with engineering, design, and operations teams.
  • Turn requirements into intuitive and reliable front-end components for a large corporation.
  • Participate in design discussions and build software that goes live in production environments.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional front-end development experience with production deployments.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript and React Native; exposure to React for web is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD in cloud environments and tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, or similar.
  • Experience building web applications or device-based user interfaces used by real users.
  • Understanding of Web APIs including REST/HTTP, authentication flows, and error handling.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid on-site schedule.
  • Experience building device-based UIs such as kiosk, touch-screen, or HMI systems.
  • Exposure to robotics or hardware-adjacent systems.
  • Experience with observability such as logs, metrics, and traces, and performance tuning.
  • Familiarity with security, offline-first patterns, and real-time UI considerations.
