Job Description
Peterson Technology Partners is currently seeking a highly skilled Front-End Performance Engineer with a strong focus on web optimization, scalability, and user experience enhancement. The ideal candidate will work closely with front-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product teams to improve website speed, responsiveness, and overall application efficiency across multiple digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize front-end applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Improve Core Web Vitals, page load performance, and rendering efficiency
- Analyze website performance using browser developer tools and monitoring platforms
- Collaborate with developers to reduce JavaScript execution time and optimize assets
- Implement lazy loading, code splitting, caching, and image optimization strategies
- Monitor performance issues and troubleshoot front-end bottlenecks

- Conduct performance audits and recommend technical improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in front-end development and performance optimization
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript
- Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and modern web performance standards
- Familiarity with Lighthouse, WebPageTest, Chrome DevTools, and performance monitoring tools
- Experience with bundlers and build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Parcel
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and browser rendering processes
- Understanding of API integration and asynchronous data handling
- Familiarity with CDN implementation, caching mechanisms, and asset delivery optimization
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
