Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front End Lead Developer to lead our front-end development initiatives and deliver highly functional, visually appealing web applications. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and project management, with opportunities to coordinate with an offshore development team in India.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development & Architecture

  • Lead the design and implementation of responsive, user-friendly web applications.
  • Apply HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap to create dynamic, consistent, and accessible user interfaces.
  • Ensure responsive and mobile-first design principles are followed across all projects.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Guide, mentor, and provide technical direction to the front-end development team.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate effectively with the offshore development team in India through morning and evening calls.

Business Collaboration & AEM Integration

  • Interact with business users to understand requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Utilize experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to manage and integrate content effectively.

Quality Assurance & Documentation

  • Implement best practices for testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for projects.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging tools, frameworks, and best practices in front-end development.
  • Drive innovation and process improvements in the front-end team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of professional front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or lead role.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
  • Expertise in responsive web design and mobile-first development.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Fountain Valley, CA, 3–4 days per week.
  • Willingness to coordinate with offshore teams in different time zones.
