Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Front End Lead Developer to guide our front-end development efforts and ensure the delivery of visually appealing, responsive, and high-performance web applications. This role combines hands-on development with team leadership, collaboration with business stakeholders, and coordination with offshore teams.
The ideal candidate is a front-end expert proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap, with experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) considered a valuable asset.
Key Responsibilities
Front-End Development:
- Lead the development of responsive, user-friendly web applications and websites.
- Implement interactive and dynamic features using JavaScript and jQuery.
- Apply Bootstrap to maintain consistent and responsive UI design.
Team Leadership & Coordination:
- Mentor and guide the front-end team, ensuring high-quality code and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with offshore developers in India via morning and evening calls to track project progress.
Collaboration & Business Interaction:
- Work closely with business users to understand requirements and align development with organizational goals.
- Leverage knowledge of AEM to integrate and manage content where applicable.
Quality Assurance & Documentation:
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure quality through testing and debugging.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for projects.
Continuous Learning:
- Stay updated on front-end trends, tools, and emerging technologies to implement best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of front-end development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Fountain Valley, California, 3–4 days/week.
- Ability to coordinate with offshore teams, including participation in calls during morning and evening hours.
