Job Description

Synchrony is seeking a skilled and motivated Front-End Engineer II to join its Digital Servicing technology team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of modern, responsive, and scalable web applications that enhance the customer servicing experience.

The ideal candidate should have strong front-end development expertise, a passion for clean and efficient code, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including designers, backend engineers, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern front-end technologies
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create engaging digital experiences
  • Write reusable, scalable, and maintainable code
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and performance
  • Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions
  • Troubleshoot front-end issues and implement effective solutions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript

  • Familiarity with REST APIs and modern development workflows
