Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Front End Developer with 5+ years of experience in web application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JavaScript and modern front-end technologies, along with experience supporting enterprise-level applications. This is a part-time remote (WFH) opportunity suited for professionals who can work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, debug, and maintain web-based software applications supporting business functions.
  • Design and implement responsive web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Participate in the architecture, design, and implementation of complex applications.
  • Integrate applications with Web APIs, RESTful services, and web services.
  • Troubleshoot issues using tools like browser developer tools, Fiddler, and Splunk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external developers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain technical documentation and knowledge repositories.
  • Provide technical guidance and contribute to project initiatives when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in web application development.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript (heavy hands-on experience required).
  • Hands-on experience with responsive web design.
  • Proficiency in HTML/XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JSON, JSONP, jQuery, jQuery UI.
  • Experience with modern frameworks such as Angular, React, Handlebars, RequireJS, Hammer.js.
  • Knowledge of Web APIs, RESTful services, XML/XSL, and web services.
  • Familiarity with transport protocols such as SFTP, SOAP/HTTPS.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level software applications.
  • Experience with tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Splunk, Fiddler, browser dev tools.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Background working with Java or .NET technologies is a plus.
  • Experience leading initiatives or providing technical direction.
