Location: Harrisburg (Remote)
Contract Type: Contract

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong Java/Spring backend expertise and modern frontend framework experience to help build secure enterprise web services.

This role focuses on developing secure SOA-based applications and implementing reliable data exchange systems across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop enterprise applications using Java / J2EE
  • Build secure web services using Spring Boot and OpenID Connect
  • Implement authentication and authorization with OAuth 2.0
  • Develop modern frontend applications using Vue.js or Angular
  • Write efficient database queries and integrations
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
  • Participate in architecture discussions and system improvements

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Java / J2EE enterprise development
  • Experience developing SOAP / REST web services
  • Hands-on work with Spring ecosystem
  • Frontend development using Vue.js, Angular, or similar frameworks
  • Experience with application servers such as JBoss and Apache Tomcat
  • Strong database development using Oracle Database or PostgreSQL
  • ORM experience such as Hibernate / JPA
  • Experience with Git or Azure DevOps
  • Strong debugging and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with SOA architectures
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns
  • Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
  • CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure

Experience Requirements

  • 10+ years Java / Object-Oriented Development
  • 6+ years Spring / Hibernate
  • 6+ years Web services development
  • 5+ years Frontend technologies (Angular / React / Vue)
  • 5+ years CI/CD processes

Contract Details

  • Initial contract funded through June 30, 2026
  • Potential extension through June 2027 depending on project needs
