About the Role

Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for passionate Freelance Coding Instructors to teach Python, Java, or C++ to students and professionals worldwide. This role is ideal for developers or educators who enjoy sharing knowledge and want the flexibility of remote freelance teaching.

As an instructor, you will deliver engaging live sessions, guide learners through practical coding exercises, and help them develop real-world programming skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct live, interactive online coding classes in Python, Java, or C++.
  • Design, prepare, and update course curriculum and learning materials.
  • Adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and experience levels.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and timely feedback to learners.
  • Create coding assignments, projects, and assessments.
  • Track student progress and adjust instruction to improve outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the academic team to maintain teaching quality.
  • Stay updated with programming trends, tools, and industry practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOP, and debugging.
  • Previous experience in teaching, mentoring, or technical training.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical topics in a clear and simple way.
  • Comfortable using virtual teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and reliability.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in software development or technical training.
  • Experience with online teaching or e-learning is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with international or diverse learners is a plus.

Working Hours

  • Flexible schedule based on instructor availability and course demand.
  • Sessions may occur on weekdays, evenings, or weekends.
  • Typical instructor commitment ranges from 6 to 15 hours per week.
