Job Summary

We are seeking Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) with hands-on expertise in Palantir Foundry to join our dynamic team working at the intersection of technology and real-world impact. In this role, you won?t just write code?you?ll work directly with customers to understand their toughest challenges, architect robust solutions, and deploy impactful data-driven applications.

Whether optimizing disaster response systems or transforming global supply chains, you’ll be part of high-stakes projects that require both technical brilliance and strategic thinking.
Core Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end delivery of high-impact technical solutions using Palantir Foundry.
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand complex business problems and translate them into data-enabled solutions.
• Design architecture, wrangle massive-scale data, build custom applications, and lead technical execution.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Deployment Strategists, Product Engineers, and customer executives.
• Drive project strategy, manage shifting priorities, and lead solution rollouts.
• Develop a deep understanding of client environments, identify opportunities for impact, and iterate rapidly with users.
Key Qualifications
• Strong background in software engineering, data engineering, or systems integration.
• Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry including pipeline building, ontology modeling, and application development.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala, and knowledge of modern web frameworks (e.g., React, TypeScript).
• Experience with big data ecosystems, cloud platforms, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in applying technology to complex, real-world issues.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with shifting priorities and high autonomy.
Preferred Skills
• Experience working in sectors such as government, energy, healthcare, logistics, finance, or defense.
• Prior client-facing experience and a passion for building trust and driving results in collaborative settings.
• Familiarity with data governance, security frameworks, and regulatory compliance considerations.
