Provide high quality medical care to all U.S. government employees and their families stationed abroad.
Serve as a vital member of the diplomatic team, representing the U.S. Department of State and promoting its global mission.
Display strong clinical skills in both emergency and primary care settings.
Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities to effectively manage and lead a medical team.
Stay updated on current medical practices and procedures to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
Collaborate with local medical authorities and facilities to coordinate care and resources for patients.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
Provide medical advice and guidance to U.S. government employees and their families regarding health and wellness while stationed abroad.
Participate in and lead training sessions and workshops to educate personnel on medical issues and promote health and wellness.
Conduct medical evaluations and screenings as required by the U.S. Department of State.
Adhere to all ethical and professional standards set forth by the U.S. Department of State and the medical profession.
Maintain the confidentiality and privacy of all patient information.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide necessary treatment and/or referrals.
Represent the U.S. Department of State and the Foreign Service community in a professional and compassionate manner.
