Design and implement low-voltage electrical systems for Sandia National Laboratories facilities
Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting of existing systems to identify potential issues and recommend solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Develop and maintain accurate documentation and drawings of all low-voltage electrical systems
Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and efficiency of systems
Monitor and analyze energy consumption data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and trends to continuously improve and innovate low-voltage electrical systems at Sandia National Laboratories
Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on low-voltage electrical systems and best practices
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including management, contractors, and other departments, to ensure smooth operation and timely completion of projects
Actively participate in problem-solving and decision-making processes to address any issues that may arise in the facilities’ electrical systems.
