About Us

The UAE Polo Federation is the official governing body for polo in the United Arab Emirates. Our mission is to promote the sport, support affiliated clubs and registered players, and uphold the highest standards of governance.

We currently have an existing mobile app and website (uaepolofederation.com) and are seeking an expert full-stack development partner to evolve them into a world-class, unified digital ecosystem. This is a high-impact project with long-term collaboration potential.

Project Overview

We need a top-tier developer or agency to enhance our iOS/Android application and WordPress website, integrating them into a seamless platform that strengthens governance, adds revenue streams, and boosts community engagement.

Domain Context for Developers

  • Polo Basics: A team sport played on horseback with two teams of four players each.
  • User Types: Player (Pro/Amateur), Patron, Umpire, Club, Fan/Visitor.
  • Handicap (HCP): Player skill rating from -2 to 10, central to governance.
  • Governance: Aligned with the Hurlingham Polo Association (HPA)—digitization must enforce these rules.
  • Fees & Sureties: Certain submissions require deposits (e.g., £1,000 for umpire bias complaints). The system must handle these payment rules.

We will provide full documentation, including a 20-slide board presentation, all 14 submission forms, board resolutions, and official communications.

Scope of Work

Part 1: Mobile App Enhancements (React Native / Flutter)

Phase 1 – Core Governance & Revenue

  • Digital Governance Portal with 14 submission forms
  • Membership & Insurance Module (API integration with DNI)
  • Stripe Payment Integration for membership fees and surety deposits

Phase 2 – Engagement, Community & Calendar

  • Community features: Player Q&A sessions, fan polls
  • Social media feeds (Instagram & X) integration
  • One-tap calendar sync for tournaments/matches

Phase 3 – UX & Content

  • Advanced push notifications system
  • Personalized “My Federation” content hub

Part 2: Private Federation Management Portal (Admin Only)

  • Interactive statistics dashboard (matches, teams, disciplinary actions)
  • Fines management system with automatic status updates
  • Automated birthday emails via CRON job

Part 3: Public Website Enhancements (WordPress)

  • “Membership & Governance” section in main navigation
  • Integration of all 14 submission forms with backend connectivity
  • Membership registration and payment portal
  • Prominent App Store & Google Play download links
  • Add-to-Calendar (.ics) functionality for tournaments
  • Embedded live Instagram & X feeds
  • Content synchronization between app and website

What We’re Looking For

  • Full-stack developer or agency with mobile app (React Native or Flutter) + WordPress experience
  • Proven Stripe integration experience for both web and app
  • Strong API integration skills
  • Portfolio of complex user-facing apps and websites
  • Experience with calendar APIs and .ics file generation
  • Excellent communication, proactive approach, and willingness to learn polo governance
