Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack React / Java Developer to help relaunch a previously VC-backed SaaS product management platform. The platform already has a strong reputation, award-winning design, and a complete B2B SaaS system with both freemium and paid plans.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing existing systems, improving architecture, and bringing products back to life.

About the Project

The intellectual property of a well-known product management platform has recently been acquired. The product includes:

  • Award-winning UX and design
  • A recognized brand within the product management community
  • A full-featured B2B SaaS platform
  • Freemium and paid subscription models

The goal is to audit, stabilize, deploy, and relaunch the platform, followed by ongoing improvements and feature development.

Responsibilities

  • Review and audit the current frontend and backend codebase
  • Identify issues in architecture, dependencies, or performance
  • Set up local development environments
  • Configure and deploy the platform to staging and production
  • Manage infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
  • Connect domain, SSL, and database services
  • Improve code quality, performance, and maintainability
  • Suggest short-term fixes and long-term technical roadmap
  • Support ongoing development and maintenance after launch

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Solid frontend experience with React
  • Experience building and maintaining SaaS platforms
  • Familiarity with GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with MySQL database design and optimization
  • Deployment experience on Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud providers
  • Strong debugging and system architecture understanding
  • Ability to work independently and review existing codebases

Nice to Have

  • Experience relaunching or modernizing legacy SaaS platforms
  • DevOps or infrastructure experience
  • Strong UI/UX sensitivity
  • Experience working with subscription billing or freemium models
