Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Backend Engineer to help develop, maintain, and improve our backend systems built with Java and Spring Boot. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex codebases, building reliable APIs, and ensuring seamless integrations with external partners.

Role Overview

As a Backend Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing our existing modules, refactoring legacy components, and building scalable services. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain stable interfaces and deliver high-quality backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance backend modules using Java and Spring Boot
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs
  • Refactor and improve existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Ensure interface compatibility with external partner systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in a timely manner
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and external stakeholders
  • Participate in code reviews and technical discussions

Required Skills

  • Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
  • Proven experience building and maintaining REST APIs
  • Ability to work with large and complex codebases
  • Good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
  • Experience with Git or other version control systems
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with API integrations and third-party systems

Nice to Have

  • Experience with microservices architecture
  • Knowledge of Docker or containerized deployments
  • Experience working with SQL / NoSQL databases
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
