Overview
ChenMed is rapidly expanding and changing lives every day for both patients and team members. The Digital Marketing Specialist – SEO is responsible for supporting the search engine optimization (SEO) strategy for ChenMed’s public-facing brands. This role focuses on optimizing web assets, online profiles, lead magnets, Salesforce campaign configuration, website optimization reports, and digital campaign activation. The specialist supports the organic promotion of ChenMed brands as a leader in primary care for seniors by improving search engine rankings and managing the integrity of digital assets across multiple digital properties. The role requires immersion in the healthcare industry, digital marketing, inbound strategies, and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in marketing, communication, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in digital marketing or related field, including SEO project management
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as Drupal, WordPress, or similar
- Working knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
- Experience with SEO platforms such as Conductor, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Competent-level business acuity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Ability to collaborate with multiple leaders
- Spoken and written fluency in English
- General working knowledge of HTML and CSS preferred
- Working knowledge of UI/UX, SEO, digital analytics, or webpage building preferred
- Salesforce, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and healthcare marketing experience preferred but not required
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% and work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Execute digital marketing strategies focused on attracting website visitors and improving online profiles
- Optimize webpages and media for paid and organic campaigns
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
- Partner with content, digital, and web teams to improve website architecture, content, and linking for SEO
- Ensure newly developed code follows SEO best practices
- Research and analyze competitors to monitor share of voice
- Apply on-page and off-page SEO best practices including backlinking, metadata refinement, and content recommendations
- Manage production of digital marketing deliverables and oversee projects with partners
- Maintain digital marketing production calendars and communicate updates to leadership
- Manage and activate campaigns in Salesforce CRM
- Manage campaign tagging (UTMs) and digital campaign integrations
- Review digital assets for brand alignment and compliance standards
- Test email and web designs across devices and platforms
- Conduct website audits to ensure accuracy of published content
- Pull and maintain monthly SEO performance reports
- Attend webinars, trainings, and vendor meetings related to digital marketing
- Support digital team members with publishing, troubleshooting, and access needs
- Perform additional duties as assigned
