Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong development background in Python or Java to join our growing DevSecOps team. In this role, you will help promote a DevOps culture, design scalable CI/CD pipelines, and implement automation across the software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous delivery, and enjoys working closely with development and security teams to deliver reliable and secure deployments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with development teams to understand priorities and requirements
  • Design and build CI/CD delivery pipelines for multiple languages and platforms
  • Implement DevOps best practices across development teams
  • Improve and enhance pipeline systems built on a Java-based platform
  • Promote automation and self-service deployment models
  • Work with security teams to ensure secure and reliable builds and releases
  • Support zero-downtime deployments and continuous delivery
  • Encourage DevOps culture and operational ownership across teams
  • Continuously analyze and improve the deployment lifecycle

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
  • Strong software development background (Python, Java, Groovy, .NET, or Node.js)
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Hands-on experience with Jenkins
  • Experience deploying applications using Docker or Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Git and source control workflows
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices
  • Knowledge of modern deployment strategies including zero-downtime deployments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with cross-functional development teams
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns
  • Passion for automation and infrastructure as code
  • Experience improving build security and deployment reliability
  • Continuous improvement mindset

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as:

  • Computer Science
  • Engineering
  • Human Computer Interaction
  • New Media
  • Graphic Design
  • Liberal Arts

or equivalent professional experience.
