Job Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support application build, deployment, automation, and cloud infrastructure initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code.
This role will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and automation across environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD)
• Integrate Jenkins with tools such as Git, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, Nexus/Artifactory
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Build and manage Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes
• Monitor system performance and reliability using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch
• Troubleshoot CI/CD failures, deployment issues, and environment-related problems
• Implement security best practices including secrets management and access controls
• Collaborate with development teams to improve DevOps maturity and automation standards
• Document DevOps processes, pipelines, and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps engineering experience
• Strong experience with Jenkins CI/CD (pipeline scripting, shared libraries, plugins)
• Solid experience with Git (GitHub / GitLab / Bitbucket)
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
• Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Strong scripting skills in Shell, Bash, Python, or Groovy
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Understanding of DevOps best practices, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with Ansible, Helm
• Exposure to ArgoCD, GitOps
• CI/CD security tools (Snyk, Aqua, Trivy, Checkmarx)
• Experience in large enterprise environments
• Prior experience working in regulated or high-availability system
