The Datacenter Solution Manager will play a key technical role supporting partners and customers by promoting Huawei’s data center facility solutions portfolio, enabling channel partners, and driving successful project delivery across Italy.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Technical Enablement
- Deliver technical training sessions and workshops for partner sales and engineering teams (UPS, cooling, monitoring, modular data centers).
- Develop enablement materials including presentations, solution guides, competitive positioning, and demo scripts.
- Act as a primary escalation point for partner technical challenges.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for partners and end customers.
- Support partners in opportunity qualification, architecture definition, and proposal preparation (BoQ, sizing, technical documentation).
- Assist with RFP/RFI responses.
Project Lifecycle Support
- Provide presales technical support including proof-of-concept validation and due diligence.
- Guide partners through deployment and commissioning phases to ensure successful implementation.
- Collect market insights and contribute to product roadmap improvements.
Relationship Management
- Build strong technical relationships with distributors and system integrators.
- Understand partner strategies and identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Presales, Solution Architecture, Technical Consulting, or similar client-facing roles within IT or data center industries.
- Strong expertise in Data Center Facility Infrastructure, including:
- Power systems (UPS, batteries, power distribution)
- Cooling systems (chillers, CRAC/CRAH, precision cooling)
- Racks and containment (hot/cold aisle)
- DCIM and monitoring platforms
- Prefabricated/modular data center solutions
- Experience working within a channel/partner sales model.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally (up to 50%).
