Overview

This role combines data analysis, cost management, and cross-functional collaboration to support forecasting, supplier negotiations, and cost optimization initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Cost & Forecast Management

  • Maintain and reconcile monthly cost forecasts.
  • Collaborate with buyers to ensure forecast accuracy.
  • Support supplier negotiations through detailed cost analysis.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and distribute monthly cost performance reports.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Track cost metrics and provide insights to stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead or co-lead cost reduction ideation workshops.
  • Coordinate with multiple teams to drive efficiency initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables.

Required Skills

  • Strong data analysis experience with large datasets.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Project management experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Tableau or Power BI for visualization.
  • Databricks experience.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • Cost reduction or procurement analytics experience.
  • Client or stakeholder-facing experience.

Technical Stack

  • Big Data: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Kafka, NoSQL
  • Cloud & Storage: AWS, S3, Redshift
  • Data Engineering: Scala, Apache Pig
  • Data Warehousing concepts
