Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to execute complex analytical initiatives and deliver high-impact solutions within the Finance domain. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with business acumen and the ability to communicate insights effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems.
  • Perform advanced text analytics, including sentiment analysis and word embeddings.
  • Work with large-scale data architectures and cloud environments to process and analyze data efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, IT, and external partners) to deliver enterprise-level projects.
  • Communicate analytical findings, risks, and value propositions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to best practices in data science and AI adoption.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist delivering complex analytical projects.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in text analytics and NLP techniques.
  • Strong programming expertise in Python, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, and CUDA.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, classifiers, and statistical methodologies.
  • Knowledge of big data architectures and cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Kibana.
  • Advanced degree (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Hadoop/Hive, Neo4j, Apache Spark, Kafka, or MongoDB.
  • Exposure to Speech-to-Text technologies.
  • Experience working in the Finance or FinTech domain.
  • Demonstrated success delivering high-value enterprise solutions.
