Position Overview

As a Data Science Manager specializing in Marketing Analytics, you will lead a team of high-performing data scientists to deliver impactful, data-driven insights that shape marketing strategy and business growth. This role combines leadership, advanced analytics expertise, and strategic thinking to optimize customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and ROI across marketing channels.

You will play a critical role in developing and executing the organization’s marketing analytics vision while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data scientists focused on marketing analytics initiatives.
  • Define and execute the marketing analytics strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights to optimize customer acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and engineering teams to influence strategic decisions.
  • Design and implement advanced analytical models, including:
    • Customer segmentation
    • Attribution modeling
    • Propensity and uplift modeling
    • Lifetime value (LTV) prediction
    • Marketing mix modeling
  • Establish experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, causal inference) to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
  • Ensure scalable data pipelines and robust analytical solutions in production environments.
  • Communicate complex analytical findings to senior stakeholders in a clear, business-focused manner.
  • Drive innovation by adopting new tools, technologies, and methodologies in marketing data science.
  • Maintain high standards for data quality, governance, and ethical data usage.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in data science or analytics roles with a strong focus on marketing analytics.
  • Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring data science teams.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate analytics into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Expertise in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Background in digital marketing analytics, performance marketing, or growth analytics.
  • Experience working with large-scale customer data and experimentation platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
