Job Description

Gain practical health system operations experience as a Data Science Intern at Virtua Health, a Magnet-recognized health system.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:
• Taking direction from an administrative sponsor on duties aligned with the intern’s experience and understanding
• Completing assigned tasks timely while exhibiting Virtua STAR qualities
• Maintaining a positive attitude and self-motivation
• Shadowing a Virtua employee as directed by the administrative sponsor
• Completing and presenting a final report as required by the administrative sponsor

About You

The company is looking for:
• Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed in Data Science, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related fields
• Currently matriculating high school, undergraduate, graduate students, or recent graduates (less than one year)
• Ability to provide a resume and statement of objective/learning goals prior to internship start

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly rate: $17.97 – $25.20, based on experience and market alignment
