Department: AWS Infrastructure Services
Team: Data Center Operations (DCO)
Level: Technician (early career)
Work Type: Shift-based, physical + technical

Main mission:

Keep AWS servers and network hardware running 24/7.

🎯 What You Will Actually Do

Hardware & Infrastructure Work

  • Install servers and network devices
  • Rack and stack equipment
  • Replace faulty components (RAM, disks, PSUs)
  • Cable management (fiber & copper)
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures

Operations & Reliability

  • Respond to tickets
  • Diagnose system issues
  • Maintain uptime
  • Track parts inventory

Collaboration

  • Work with engineers and operations teams
  • Train junior technicians
  • Participate in improvement projects

🛠️ Skills Required

Core technical skills:
