About the Role

We are hiring a Country Project Lead – Data Center to lead HVAC and cooling delivery for data center projects across India. This role will manage end-to-end project execution—from design review through commissioning—ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with global data center standards.

This is a leadership role responsible for managing multiple stakeholders, high-value projects, and mission-critical infrastructure delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Lead HVAC scope for greenfield and expansion data center projects across India.
  • Develop and implement SOPs/playbooks for data center project planning, execution, and compliance.
  • Review HVAC designs in line with applicable standards and uptime requirements.
  • Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations teams.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Manage HVAC consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and commissioning partners.
  • Act as the senior interface for high-stake customers and projects.
  • Participate in technical evaluations, BOQs, tenders, and vendor selection.

Team & Performance Management

  • Build and lead a team of data center project experts for on-time delivery (OTD).
  • Track project KPIs (operational and financial) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing locations for timely equipment delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 12+ years of HVAC experience with strong exposure to data center or mission-critical projects in India.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Chilled water systems
    • CRAH / CRAC units
    • High-density cooling technologies
  • Proven ability to manage multi-site projects, vendors, and fast-track schedules.
  • Familiarity with Indian regulations, local authorities, and site execution practices.
  • PMP or data center certifications preferred.
