Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory (racks, trays, networking equipment).
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation and perform regular stock counts.
- Reconcile discrepancies and ensure system accuracy.
Shipping & Receiving
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with suppliers and carriers.
- Prepare shipping labels, documents, and packaging.
- Unpack and inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy.
- Move inventory using pallet jacks and material handling equipment safely.
Facility Maintenance
- Maintain clean and organized storage and dock areas.
- Assist with disposal of packaging and obsolete equipment.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all data center security protocols and safety procedures.
- Ensure compliance with operational standards and access controls.
Support & Collaboration
- Work with data center operations, procurement, and technical teams.
- Assist with special projects and operational initiatives.
Assembly Support
- Help assemble and install server racks according to instructions.
- Support cable management and organization with senior technicians.
- Use tools safely to complete installation tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18 years
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory, or related field
- Familiarity with inventory systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Basic math and document interpretation skills
- Experience using pallet jacks or material handling equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification or education in logistics or supply chain
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Positive and professional attitude
- Flexibility for overtime if required
Physical Requirements
- Lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs regularly
- Stand for extended periods (>4 hours)
- Walk up to 4–5 miles per day
- Perform bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling tasks
- Work in varying temperature environments
