Overview
A leading technology services provider is seeking a Data Center Hardware Support Engineer to manage and maintain hardware lab infrastructure supporting DIRECTV operations. This role focuses on server migration, physical hardware integration, troubleshooting, and supporting automation environments. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain lab hardware infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, and networking components.
- Perform server migrations, hardware upgrades, and physical integrations within the lab environment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Support automation tools and lab testing environments used for development and validation.
- Install, configure, and rack hardware components according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams to support testing and deployment initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and inventory.
- Monitor hardware performance and proactively address potential issues.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with IT hardware and data center environments.
- Knowledge of server architecture, storage systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with hardware troubleshooting and system integration.
- Familiarity with automation tools or lab testing environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
