This on-site, night-shift role is essential for maintaining and supporting the facility’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT infrastructure within a 24x7x365 mission-critical environment.
About the Role
As a Data Center Critical Ops Tech I, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting critical systems to ensure continuous operations and uptime. This position is ideal for candidates with technical training and experience in facilities or infrastructure maintenance who thrive in high-reliability environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and IT systems
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and operational issues in a timely manner
- Support daily operations within a 24/7 data center environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and operational logs
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure system reliability
- Follow safety procedures and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Technical training or certification in facilities, electrical, mechanical, or IT-related fields
- Experience in facilities maintenance, data center operations, or critical environments preferred
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work night shifts and respond to operational needs
