Overview

CT SEO Pro is a small but high-performing SEO agency helping home service businesses across the U.S.—including roofers, wildlife control, and sewer & drain companies—gain visibility and leads through results-driven Local SEO. The company focuses on testing, refining, and executing strategies that move the needle. The Head of SEO role is a leadership position responsible for scaling SEO strategy, leading a team, and driving rankings and lead generation across the client base. This is a full-time, fully remote role requiring strong decision-making, innovation, and ownership of results.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SEO experience
  • Previous or current experience in an agency setting
  • Experience working with U.S.-based and international clients
  • Strong experience in Local SEO
  • WordPress expertise
  • Proven people management experience

Brownie Points

  • Entity SEO knowledge
  • Experience using AI tools or agents
  • Background working with home service-based businesses
  • Familiarity with Go High Level
  • Understanding of geo-grids

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of 5 SEO specialists
  • Decide and implement effective SEO strategies, including links, site structure, citations, and press releases
  • Request additional client budget when required to achieve results
  • Shape, maintain, and improve Local SEO SOPs
  • Continuously test and re-test SEO strategies to stay competitive
  • Own rankings and lead generation performance across all clients
  • Take initiative, communicate clearly, and lead by example
  • Make data-driven decisions to improve SEO performance at scale

Working Hours

  • Full-time role
  • 6am to 2pm EST
  • 3–4 hour overlap required
  • No graveyard shifts
