Country Lead – India

Job Description

As the Country Lead for India, you will be responsible for driving Pump’s growth and operations in the region. You will develop and execute the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, build and lead a high-performing team, and establish Pump as a leader in cloud cost optimization in India.

Responsibilities –
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute Pump’s GTM strategy for India, aligning with global objectives and local market dynamics.
• Team Building: Recruit, train, and lead a cross-functional team across sales, marketing, customer success, and technical support.
• Market Expansion: Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand Pump’s market share and customer base in India.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including AWS, channel partners, and customers.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local regulations and cultural norms while aligning with global corporate policies.

Qualifications –
• Proven experience in a leadership role with a track record of successfully managing business operations and GTM strategies, preferably in the cloud computing or IT services industry.
• Experience building and scaling startups, preferably from a small team to a larger organization.
• Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and experience in cloud cost management or similar fields.
• Excellent networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of partners and stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of adapting to the fast-paced technology landscape.
• Effective communicator and influencer, proficient in both English and local languages.
