Google is seeking an experienced Construction Electrical Technical Program Manager (TPM) to support Central Operations within its Data Center Delivery and Engineering (DCDE) organization. This role focuses on improving large-scale data center planning, execution, and operational efficiency across multiple projects and regions.
About the Role
As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution. You’ll collaborate with engineering, construction, PMO, and leadership teams to identify risks, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement across Google’s global data center infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety across all construction activities and project environments.
- Manage project health, risks, mitigation strategies, and delivery reporting for leadership.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to develop communication and rollout strategies for site improvements.
- Collaborate with PMO, EXR, DCTS, and supply chain teams to secure approvals and implement fleet-wide improvements.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with organizational OKRs and performance goals.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of program management experience.
- 5+ years working in data center, engineering, or construction environments.
- Experience managing process improvement or construction programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems in large facilities.
- Excellent organizational, scheduling, and reporting skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $156,000 – $229,000 (location and experience dependent)
- Performance bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits package included.
