Join ABB, a global technology leader driving innovation in electrification and automation. We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our HVACR Low Voltage Drives business within the rapidly growing Data Center industry across the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to work with industry leaders, influence large-scale infrastructure projects, and position ABB as a preferred vendor among key stakeholders including end users, EPCs, and consultants.

🔹 Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Develop and execute a pipeline of major opportunities (≥ $50M) within the Data Center sector.
  • Promote ABB HVACR drive products and secure Approved Vendor List placements.
  • Analyze industry trends (including emerging cooling technologies like immersion cooling).
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and marketing teams to strengthen market positioning.
  • Build executive-level relationships with key customers and partners.

During the onboarding period, training will be conducted at ABB’s VFD factory in New Berlin, Wisconsin (1–3 months).

🔹 Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical field) with 8+ years of experience, or Associate’s degree with 10+ years.
  • Proven experience selling technical solutions to Data Centers or complex industrial environments.
  • Strong knowledge of motor, drive systems, and HVACR applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to travel domestically (~40%).
  • Valid work authorization to work in the US.
