About the Role

We are seeking a talented Backend Developer specializing in GoLang Microservices to join our fast-paced engineering team. This role is ideal for a developer who can quickly adapt, take ownership of tasks, and contribute to building scalable cloud-native solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy backend services in an AWS environment while ensuring high performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize development backlogs to ensure timely delivery of features.
  • Gather, analyze, and document technical and business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and maintain GoLang-based microservices.
  • Build scalable backend services in an AWS cloud-native environment.
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
  • Integrate APIs and third-party systems to support business functionality.
  • Work collaboratively within Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Scrumban, or Kanban.
  • Track progress and manage tasks using Jira or similar project management tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional experience developing microservices using GoLang.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong experience working with AWS cloud services.
  • Proven ability to gather and define project requirements.
  • Experience working on system integration projects.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban).
  • Experience using Jira or similar tools for project tracking.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
