Job Overview

We are looking for a versatile Backend Developer with strong experience in C programming and Unix/Linux environments. This role involves end-to-end development, testing, and system verification across multiple platforms. Candidates with a combination of backend, database, scripting, and basic GUI experience will be ideal for supporting diverse project needs.

The position requires a self-driven engineer who can deliver high-quality results within defined timelines while working in a hybrid setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform end-to-end development and testing of backend components.
  • Develop and validate new data feeds, including Whitehorse feeds.
  • Verify application functionality against new OS patch releases.
  • Identify and remediate security-related code issues.
  • Support system stability and performance in Unix/Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications and utilities.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of backend systems and Unix-based development.
  • Database development and query optimization experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage deliverables within deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
