Job Description:ResponsibilitiesWork with stakeholders to understand technical constraints, and develop, communicate, and track against realistic plans to ship bug fixes and improve engineering fundamentals (availability, accessibility, and security) in well-loved parts of GitHub.Coordinate with engineering leadership, customer support, and other teams to define and prioritize projects that help us meet business objectives.Ensure compliance with GitHub software development best practices and industry standards.Required qualifications.6+ years’ experience writing production grade Rails, especially along with React.Experience designing, building, scaling and maintaining distributed systems.Experience in testing, production system monitoring, and observability.Preferred qualificationsStrong customer focus and data driven approach.Track record of strong analytical skills as well as communication skills both verbal and writtenPassionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes.Experience effectively contributing to technical strategy and roadmaps.Candidates should have excellent debugging and communication skills.Key Skills: Ruby, Rails, React
