Trimble is looking for a motivated AI Engineer in Mexicali to lead the development of next-generation API interfaces, leveraging OpenAI and GPT-4 to create seamless data interoperability and deliver AI-powered features that delight our global construction customers.

Key Exciting Responsibilities
- Design and deploy advanced AI solutions within our ERP products using OpenAI, GPT-4, and Azure OpenAI Service to enhance cross-application interoperability.
- Architect next-generation API interfaces that leverage Langchain and LLMs to simplify complex data interactions for end-users.
- Lead small-scale AI feature projects from concept to production, evaluating diverse technical factors to select the best methods for model deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate intricate business requirements into user-friendly, AI-driven features.
- Provide informal guidance and technical mentorship to colleagues, staying at the forefront of NLP and generative AI advancements.
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in ML/AI roles with a proven track record of building and deploying AI solutions.
- Proficient in Python and expert-level experience with Langchain, Azure OpenAI, and OpenAI Studio.
- Strong expertise in prompt engineering, optimizing few-shot techniques, and evaluating LLM performance for task generalization.
- Solid experience with Generative AI models (GPT, VAE, GANs) and deep learning techniques.
- Practical experience working with NoSQL databases and Vector DBs to support AI-driven applications.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with model interpretability and fine-tuning hyperparameters for robust web app integration.
- Familiarity with the construction industry or complex ERP data management.
- Proven ability to take a fresh perspective on existing legacy solutions to solve modern architectural problems.
- Strong background in data structures and advanced software engineering principles.
