About the Role

Nirmata is looking for a passionate and curious Software Engineer to join our team and help us define the next generation of our cloud solutions. This isn’t just another dev role-you’ll be working at the intersection of AI, Kubernetes, and cloud security, shaping the core of our platform from the ground up.
As an AI Agent Engineer, you won’t just be writing code; you’ll be experimenting with cutting-edge AI models, architecting scalable systems, and building the infrastructure that powers intelligent policy management for the world’s leading companies. Responsibilities:
• Design & Implement: Contribute directly to the design and implementation of Nirmata’s AI/ML infrastructure.
• Innovate with AI: Define the optimal approach for new AI features, including LLMs, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Be a Scientist: Conduct experiments to select the best AI models based on accuracy and cost, because every decision matters.
• Scale for Tomorrow: Influence architecture and design decisions to ensure our platform can handle explosive growth.
• Build the Engine: Develop and optimize the data path subsystem for policy management and reporting.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 Years of Experience: You’re an emerging talent with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• A Passion for AI: You have a strong curiosity and foundational understanding of AI technologies and concepts like LLMs, Agents, and RAG. No professional experience in AI/ML is required; we’re looking for potential and passion.
• Code in Your DNA: Strong programming fundamentals in at least one of these languages: Go, Java, or Python. A desire to learn or expertise in Go is a big plus.
• Know Your Systems:
-Kubernetes expertise and familiarity with distributed system architectures.
-Familiarity with messaging and database concepts and tools like Kafka, MongoDB, or Postgres.
• Open-Source Enthusiasm: Contributions to open-source projects are a huge plus-show us what you’ve been building!
