Job Description
We are looking for an AI-focused Data Engineer who can bridge modern data engineering practices with AI/ML capabilities. This role involves building data pipelines, modeling complex datasets, and enabling advanced analytics through AI integrations and Power BI visualizations. The candidate must be comfortable working with medium-to-large scale data environments and have hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT, Azure, and BI tools.Core Technical ExpertiseAI/ML: Ability to integrate and operationalize AI/ML models within data pipelines and reporting platforms.Data Modeling: Strong understanding of relational schemas, normalization/denormalization, and dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).Visualization & BI: Expertise in Power BI dashboards, DAX calculations, and semantic layer design.Required Skills & ToolsLanguages: SQL, DAX (Python/R for ML tasks a plus)Cloud & Integration: Azure (ADF, AI Services), Snowflake, DBTProcesses: Data ingestion, transformation, and optimization for warehouse and analytics environmentsWarehousing: Proficiency with Snowflake performance tuning, clustering, and query optimizationVisualization: Advanced Power BI with interactive, high-performing reportsResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain data pipelines that support AI/ML workflows, from ingestion to feature engineering and monitoring.Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to prepare datasets for training and inference.Implement AI-driven analytics into BI platforms such as Power BI.Explore and integrate AI services (Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI models, or custom ML solutions) into enterprise data products.Partner with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet both technical and business needs.Desired CertificationsData/BI Certifications: PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer)Snowflake: SnowPro® Core, SnowPro® Advanced (Data Analyst / Data Engineer DEA-C02)AI/ML Certifications (Preferred): AI-102 (Azure AI Solutions), Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate
