Duties:
As an Amada Caregiver, your responsibilities will include…
• Safely preparing, administering, and documenting prescribed oral, & topical treatments for clients.
• Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Providing support for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Performing patient care tasks under the supervision of nursing staff, including monitoring vital signs and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Engaging with patients to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers, which may involve heavy lifting or repositioning of patients.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to hygiene protocols and safety regulations.
• Documenting patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Previous experience in caregiving or direct support roles, particularly in assisted living or group home settings.
• Familiarity with patient care techniques and the ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Certification in CPR is preferred to ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• A commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting the dignity and privacy of all patients.
Requirements:
• Must have own vehicle to transport clients
• Must have a CNA & Med Tech Certificate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 per hour
