Amazon is seeking a dynamic and community-focused Workforce Staffing Engagement Specialist to support local hiring initiatives and strengthen relationships with community partners.

This role requires composure in fast-moving environments, the ability to navigate ambiguity, and strong strategic communication skills. You will serve as a key liaison between Amazon and local stakeholders, helping to create effective pathways into hourly opportunities across Amazon’s operations network.

Key Responsibilities

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, workforce agencies, and economic development partners
• Act as Amazon’s local ambassador in workforce-related engagements
• Build sustainable talent pipelines through community partnerships

Local Staffing Strategy

• Support the creation and execution of localized staffing strategies
• Identify innovative on-ramps into hourly roles across Amazon’s fulfillment and operations network
• Monitor local hiring trends and adjust strategies accordingly

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Operations, Workforce Development, and Recruiting teams
• Align community engagement efforts with operational hiring needs
• Ensure messaging is consistent, clear, and aligned with business objectives

Strategic Communication

• Anticipate stakeholder concerns and proactively develop thoughtful messaging strategies
• Quickly synthesize complex information and translate it into actionable communication
• Maintain professionalism and composure in dynamic, high-visibility situations

• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
