Role Overview

The Elite Job is seeking a talented Web Developer to join our remote team in Malaysia. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications, working closely with designers, product managers, and other developers. This role allows you to work remotely with flexible hours, giving you control over your schedule while contributing to impactful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications according to project requirements
  • Collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to ensure technical feasibility of designs
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for both frontend and backend development
  • Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and cross-platform compatibility
  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies
  • Communicate effectively with clients and remote team members
  • Ensure responsive and mobile-first design across all projects
  • Participate in regular code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Backend experience with Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Python
  • Familiarity with databases: SQL, NoSQL
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows
  • Strong understanding of responsive web design and mobile-first development
  • Knowledge of web development tools such as Webpack, Gulp, npm
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Strong communication skills in English for collaborating with remote teams

Experience & Work Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional web development experience, preferably in remote teams
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain dynamic websites and web applications
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Ability to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines
  • Flexible working hours with minimum 40 hours per week, occasional meetings during business hours
