Job Overview

We are looking for a Web Developer based in Malaysia to work remotely on diverse web development projects. You will design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance websites and web applications, collaborating with product, design, and development teams to ensure seamless functionality and exceptional user experiences.

This role is ideal for self-motivated developers who thrive in remote, flexible environments and enjoy working on both front-end and back-end development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications according to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product teams to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for front-end and back-end development.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Optimize applications for speed, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Stay updated on emerging web development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members for requirement gathering and project updates.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, consistent code.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Python.
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data management.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Problem-solving and debugging skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with tools and libraries like Webpack, Gulp, npm, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of web development experience.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain dynamic websites and web applications.
  • Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team is a plus.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is advantageous.

Working Hours
