Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our remote team in Malaysia. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality websites and web applications. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage your schedule while contributing to innovative projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications according to project specifications
  • Collaborate with design and product teams to ensure UI/UX feasibility
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient front-end and back-end code
  • Test and troubleshoot applications for functionality, performance, and cross-device compatibility
  • Stay updated on the latest web development trends and implement modern technologies
  • Communicate with clients and team members to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve issues
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and high-quality output

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or Python
  • Familiarity with databases: SQL, NoSQL
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Knowledge of responsive web design and mobile-first development
  • Familiarity with tools such as Webpack, Gulp, npm
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of web development experience, preferably in remote teams
  • Proven ability to build and maintain dynamic websites and web applications
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus

Working Hours

  • Flexible: minimum 40 hours/week
  • Occasional meetings may be scheduled during business hours (kept minimal to respect time zones)
