Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Web Developer to support enterprise web application development in a fully remote environment. This role involves leading feature development, maintaining production systems, modernizing legacy applications, and collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Angular, .NET technologies, SQL Server, and DevOps practices, along with strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise web application feature development and improvements
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform bug fixes, and implement enhancements
  • Work closely with team members to review testing feedback and improve application performance
  • Write and optimize SQL queries and perform data manipulation
  • Collaborate with junior developers and provide technical guidance and mentoring
  • Implement DevOps best practices and support knowledge transfer initiatives
  • Deploy website code from third-party vendors and manage version rollbacks when needed
  • Create and maintain test environments for applications and databases
  • Update or rewrite legacy code to align with new database structures (Oracle → SQL Server)
  • Design and modify APIs and authentication/authorization services
  • Integrate systems with external interfaces (e.g., IDHW systems)
  • Maintain and enhance reporting functionality and backend services

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with Angular / Web UI development
  • 7+ years working with SQL Server databases
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET Core
  • 5+ years of C# development experience
  • 5+ years working with ASP.NET
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture and application lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • 5+ years working with APIs and integrations
  • 7+ years of SSRS report development experience
  • 5+ years of Git version control experience
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems and database migrations

Compensation

💰 Hourly Rate: $50 – $70 per hour
